The Gov Sales Specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities with national and local government entities, public agencies, and other public sector organizations. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with government stakeholders, understanding their communication and security requirements, and presenting Broadnet’s messaging solutions to address those needs. The Gov Sales Specialist will collaborate with internal teams on pricing, solution design, and bid responses, track market and regulatory developments, and maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.QualificationsStrong government-focused relationship skills, including Government Relations experience and familiarity with Local Government and Public Sector environments.Excellent Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical messaging solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Robust Analytical Skills to assess government needs, interpret RFPs/RFQs, evaluate competitive offerings, and develop effective sales strategies.Proven experience in B2G or enterprise sales, ideally within telecommunications, messaging, ICT, or related technology sectors.Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, including public tenders, contracts, and compliance requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office (or similar) for pipeline management, reporting, and proposal preparation.Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting targets and deadlines.
