You will ensure strategic consistency, client retention, delivery excellence, and commercial performance across your portfolio while serving as a senior advisor to key clients and an influential leader within the agency.This role is a critical bridge between account leadership and executive leadership, balancing portfolio oversight, team development, and commercial accountability.What You’ll DoLead a portfolio of strategic client accounts, ensuring strong partnerships, high client satisfaction, and long-term retention.Coach and develop Account Directors and senior account teams, building leadership capability, accountability, and commercial awareness.Oversee portfolio performance, including account health, profitability, delivery quality, and client retention metrics.Partner with strategy, creative, media, production, and resource management teams to ensure consistent execution and alignment across accounts.Review and challenge account strategies, growth plans, and client recommendations to ensure they deliver measurable business value.Act as the senior escalation point for complex client, delivery, or commercial issues, driving resolution and protecting relationships.Identify portfolio-wide opportunities to strengthen client partnerships, improve ways of working, and increase operational efficiency.Drive strategic account growth by ensuring opportunities are aligned with client needs, agency capabilities, and long-term partnership goals.What You Bring (Qualifications):Must-Have:9+ years of experience in account management, client partnerships, or agency leadership roles.Proven experience managing multiple high-value client accounts or portfolios.Strong experience leading and developing senior account management teams.Demonstrated success driving client retention, account growth, and portfolio profitability.Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level relationship-building skills.Experience working across integrated marketing disciplines including strategy, creative, media, and production.Strong commercial understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scope management, and profitability.Nice to Have:Experience managing regional or global client portfolios.Experience leading agency transformation, process improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.Experience contributing to new business pitches and growth planning.Executive presentation and public speaking experience.Success in This Role Looks LikeSuccess in this role means leading a healthy, profitable portfolio of accounts while developing high-performing account leaders who consistently deliver strategic value to clients.
