About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled, meticulous, and strategically minded Group Statutory Manager to lead our group consolidation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance functions across our multi-national entities.In this critical role, you will be the gatekeeper of our group financial statements. You will oversee the end-to-end statutory reporting process for the parent company and its regional subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, local regulatory frameworks, and group accounting policies. This role requires a strong blend of technical accounting expertise and the leadership capacity to manage large-scale external audits and system integrations.Key Responsibilities1. Group Consolidation & Statutory ReportingLead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process for all subsidiaries across various jurisdictions (including KSA, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, etc.).Prepare, review, and issue the Group’s Consolidated Financial Statements in both English and Arabic, ensuring strict adherence to IFRS and local regulatory requirements.Own the group Chart of Accounts (COA) and ensure consistency in accounting treatments, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency translations (IAS 21) across the group.Manage complex technical accounting areas.Coordinate with accounting teams and lead on the audit for subsidiaries across the group and manage with the audit the separate financial statements issuance.2. Audit Management & GovernanceAct as the primary liaison and coordinator for the Group’s external auditors, managing the planning, execution, and timely delivery of interim and annual audits.Support the Audit Committee and General Assembly preparations by preparing technical position papers, audit schedules, and disclosure checklists.Align with group tax manager to ensure that all statutory filings and compliance requirements (Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT) across different countries are aligned with audited figures and filed on time.3. Systems & Process OptimizationSupport system implementation, maintenance, and optimization of consolidation systems.Establish robust internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to enhance reporting.4. Subsidiary Oversight & Business PartnershipWork closely with subsidiary finance teams to investigate and resolve standalone balance sheet variances, reconciliation gaps, and intercompany mismatches.Mentor and develop finance team members across regional offices, establishing a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in accounting.Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, or IFRS is highly preferred.Experience: 10-12 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and group consolidation within a multinational environment or a Big audit firm (Assitant Manager level or above).Strong background in managing consolidations under IFRS across multiple legal entities and diverse currencies.Experience with retail, food & beverage (F&B), or multi-unit operational business models is a major plus.Systems: Hands-on experience with enterprise-level ERP systems and consolidation software (Oracle FCCS/EPM, Hyperion, or SAP) is a must.Languages: Business fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken) is a significant advantage given regional reporting requirements.
