Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Department at Helalia Language School, located in Sharm El Sheikh. The Head of Department will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of academic programs, managing and mentoring teachers, and ensuring the overall quality of education. Other responsibilities include monitoring student progress, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance curriculum, and ensuring compliance with educational standards. The role also involves strategic planning to improve departmental performance and efficiency. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team of educators.Experience in curriculum development, student performance evaluation, and instructional design.Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities to manage departmental operations effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, staff, and other stakeholders.Proficiency in educational technology and familiarity with modern teaching tools and methodologies.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Languages, or a related field (preferably with a focus on language instruction).Prior experience in an academic leadership role, preferably in language education.Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
