Egypt Education Platform is looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD) to lead and develop our support services for students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to providing tailored support that enables every student to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:Lead the LDD department, providing strategic vision and day-to-day management of support servicesDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention programs for students with learning difficulties and disabilitiesWork closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure effective support and inclusion of students with additional needsProvide training and professional development to staff on best practices in inclusive education and LDD supportMonitor student progress and adapt interventions to maximize learning outcomesEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, safeguarding policies, and school regulationsPromote awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion within the school communityRequirementsBachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in SEND/LDD are highly desirableAt least 5 years experience working in special educational needs, with proven leadership or coordination experienceStrong knowledge of learning difficulties, disabilities, and effective intervention strategiesExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and familiesExperience in developing and monitoring IEPs and delivering professional training is preferredCommitment to promoting an inclusive school culture that supports all learnersApplications should include a CV and a cover letter detailing relevant experience and approach to LDD leadership.Safeguarding Statement: The safety and wellbeing of our students is paramount.
