Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of PE for the academic year 2026-2027 to lead the Physical Education department at GESM - TBS (The British School Al Rehab). The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic development, management, and delivery of a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes physical health, skill development, and a lifelong love of fitness among students.Location: Rehab City, New CairoKey Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and oversee the PE curriculum in alignment with the school's educational vision and standardsLead and inspire a team of PE teachers, providing professional development and performance evaluationsPromote extracurricular sports programs and competitions to encourage student participation and school spiritEnsure safe and effective use of sports facilities, equipment, and resourcesCollaborate with other departments to integrate physical education with broader educational initiativesMonitor student progress and wellbeing related to physical education and healthManage budgets, resources, and logistics for PE activities and eventsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related fieldRecognized teaching qualification relevant to PEMinimum of 5 years teaching experience in physical education, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleProven experience in developing and leading successful PE programsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to motivate and engage students across a range of abilities and interestsCommitment to student welfare, inclusion, and promoting healthy lifestylesExperience in managing sports events and inter-school competitions is a plusInterested candidates should submit their CV along with a cover letter outlining their experience and vision for the PE department.Safeguarding Statement: Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students is paramount.
