Responsibilities:1. HSE Strategy & ComplianceDevelop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with Egyptian legislation and international HSE standardsConduct audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsAct as the main advisor on HSE matters to management 2. Operations & Risk ManagementOversee day-to-day HSE operations across the facilityIdentify hazards, conduct incident investigations, and implement corrective actionsMaintain and enhance HSE management systemsMonitor safety performance and ensure adherence to procedures3. Reporting & Performance MonitoringPrepare and submit weekly/monthly HSE reports and KPIsMonitor safety statistics, incidents, and compliance levelsEnsure timely and accurate reporting aligned with company requirements 4. Training & Safety CultureDesign and deliver HSE training programsPromote awareness and build a strong safety culture across the organizationLead HSE engagement and incentive programs5. Sustainability & Environmental ManagementIntegrate sustainability into HSE practicesDrive initiatives to reduce environmental impact and resource consumptionMonitor sustainability KPIs (waste, energy, carbon footprint)Ensure full compliance with environmental standards6. Team Leadership & ProjectsSupervise and develop HSE team (direct & indirect reports)Support project teams on HSE matters and ensure safe project deliveryLead continuous improvement initiatives and best practice implementationQualifications:EducationBachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent) Experience10+ years of HSE experience in industrial/manufacturing environments, 3 of them progressive managerial roleStrong knowledge of HSE management systems (OHSAS/ISO)Familiarity with Egyptian safety regulationsExperience in incident investigation, audits, and reporting Certifications (Preferred/Required)NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalentISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Internal Auditor (preferred)Risk Assessment & Incident Investigation trainingSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team managementExcellent communication and presentation skillsAnalytical thinking and problem solving
