In a busy hotel setting, this role focuses on preventing accidents, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining compliance with local regulations and brand policies.Key Responsibilities1. Safety Compliance & PoliciesEnsure the hotel complies with Egyptian health & safety laws and Accor standardsDevelop, implement, and update HSE policies and proceduresConduct regular safety audits and inspections across all departments2. Risk AssessmentIdentify workplace hazards (kitchens, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.)Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actionsMonitor high-risk areas such as fire systems, pools, and kitchens3. Training & AwarenessConduct safety induction training for new employeesOrganize fire drills and emergency response exercisesPromote safety awareness campaigns among staff4. Incident ManagementInvestigate accidents, injuries, and near-missesPrepare incident reports and recommend preventive measuresMaintain records of all safety-related incidents5. Emergency PreparednessEnsure fire safety systems are operational (alarms, extinguishers, exits)Coordinate emergency evacuation proceduresAct as a key contact during emergencies6. Hygiene & Health ControlMonitor food safety practices (HACCP compliance)Ensure proper sanitation in kitchens and public areasWork closely with housekeeping and F&B departmentsQualificationsBachelor’s degree (or diploma) in Occupational Health & Safety or related field2–5 years of experience in hospitality or hotel safetyStrong knowledge of fire safety, risk assessment, and emergency proceduresGood communication skills (Arabic & English)Attention to detail and problem-solving abilityAdditional Informationexperience is an assetPrior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related systemStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesFluency in English, additional languages are a plus
