Role Descr</strong>iption This is a full-time, on-site High School Math Teacher role located in El Faiyum, delivering the American curriculum. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the American standards, covering topics such as Algebra, Geometry, and advanced math concepts for high school learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and assessments, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and using data from quizzes, tests, and assignments to adjust teaching strategies. The teacher will manage classroom behavior, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and provide constructive feedback to learners and caregivers. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues, attending staff meetings and professional development sessions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting school events and activities as needed.Qualifications Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics, including Algebra and high school-level math content.Proficiency in Lesson Planning, curriculum mapping, and assessment design aligned with the American curriculum.Ability to adapt instruction and materials for learners transitioning from Middle School to high school-level Mathematics.Excellent Communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly and building constructive relationships with learners, caregivers, and colleagues.Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; teaching certification in the American curriculum is preferred.Proven classroom teaching experience at the middle or high school level, ideally within American or international schools.Experience using educational technology and learning management systems to support instruction and track progress.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices, learner well-being, and ongoing professional development.
