Job Title: Host (Casual) – Summer SeasonLocation: The Smokery Beach – North Coast (Bianchi)Department: Front of HouseReports to: Reservations Manager Position Summary:The Host (Casual) is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for guests at The Smokery Beach during the summer season. This role involves managing guest arrivals, reservations, seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience while maintaining The Smokery’s high standards of hospitality and service.Key Responsibilities:Welcome and greet guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments efficiently.Escort guests to their tables and provide information regarding the restaurant and its services.Coordinate with the service and operations teams to ensure smooth guest flow and table turnover.Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally.Maintain accurate reservation records and guest preferences.Assist in creating a positive and memorable guest experience.Support the team during peak operational periods and special events.Uphold The Smokery’s standards, policies, and service procedures.Requirements:Previous experience as a Host, Receptionist, Guest Relations Representative, or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Fluency in English and Arabic is required.Professional appearance and positive attitude.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Willingness to relocate or work in the North Coast for the summer season.Comfortable working in an environment where alcohol is served.Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.Employment Type: Casual / Summer Season – North Coast
