As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their exceptional experience at our luxury property. This role requires a warm, welcoming demeanor combined with impeccable organizational skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced, upscale hospitality environment.Greet guests with genuine warmth and professionalism upon arrival, creating a positive first impressionManage reservation systems and maintain accurate guest records and seating arrangementsCoordinate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest flow and optimal dining experiencesSeat guests promptly while considering special requests, accessibility needs, and dining preferencesProvide guests with menus, answer inquiries about dining options, and communicate wait times clearly and courteouslyHandle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessaryMaintain the host stand area in an organized and professional mannerAssist with special events, functions, and VIP guest services as requiredMonitor restaurant capacity and manage waitlists efficiently during peak service periodsCommunicate effectively with team members to support overall operational excellenceUphold Fairmont Gold service standards and brand values in all guest interactionsQualificationsProven experience as a Hostess or in a similar front-of-house role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishmentExceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgroundsStrong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to multitask in a busy environmentProficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systemsProfessional appearance and demeanor consistent with luxury hospitality standardsAbility to remain calm, composed, and solution-focused under pressureMultilingual capabilities (preferred, particularly Arabic and English)Knowledge of hospitality protocols and fine dining service standardsStrong problem-solving skills and guest-centric mindsetFlexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredCultural awareness and sensitivity to international guestsAdditional InformationHotel Overview: Overlooking one of Cairo’s most beautiful Nile views, Nile City Towers complex is a business destination claim to Egypt’s corporate success.
