Role Description The HSE Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt, responsible for promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction and engineering projects. The role involves conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. The HSE Engineer will develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and emergency response protocols, while monitoring adherence to local laws, company standards, and client requirements. Daily tasks include preparing reports, maintaining HSE documentation, investigating incidents and near misses, and coordinating with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors. The role also includes delivering HSE training and toolbox talks, raising awareness among workforce teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across project sites.Qualifications7-10 Years of experience as an HSE Engineer in the construction field.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Faculty of science. Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.Good understanding of HSE regulations, legal requirements, and compliance standards is a must.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is a must. Excellent reporting, documentation, and incident investigation skills.NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.Male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
