Job Objective:To supervise the implementation of occupational health and safety policies and procedures within the organization in order to ensure a safe working environment, reduce workplace risks and accidents, and ensure compliance with local regulations and international safety standards such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO 45001).Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and plans, and ensure their effective application across the organization.Conduct periodic risk assessments and identify appropriate preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards.Supervise regular workplace inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.Ensure the availability and proper maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and firefighting equipment.Prepare and deliver safety awareness and training programs for employees.Develop and review emergency and evacuation plans and ensure the readiness of emergency response teams.Investigate workplace incidents and injuries, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Prepare periodic health and safety reports and submit them to senior management.Manage the Health and Safety team, assign tasks, and monitor team performance.Coordinate with governmental and regulatory authorities regarding occupational health and safety requirements. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.Preferably holding professional safety certifications such as:National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)Or certifications related to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 45001) Occupational Health and Safety Management System.Required Experience:5 to 8 years of experience in the Occupational Health and Safety field.Preferably with supervisory experience and experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Required Skills:Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.Strong skills in risk assessment and incident management.Leadership skills and ability to manage and supervise teams.Strong reporting and effective communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Good command of the English language.Location:10th of Ramadan City.
