The Industrial Engineering Manager will lead the planning, design, and optimization of production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in apparel manufacturing. Responsibilities include analyzing production workflows, setting standard times, developing line balancing plans, and implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will coordinate closely with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve bottlenecks, reduce waste, and support capacity planning. The Industrial Engineering Manager will also manage and develop an industrial engineering team, report on key performance indicators, and support capital investment and technology implementation projects.QualificationsStrong background in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing, with the ability to analyze and optimize apparel production processes.Experience in Process Improvement and Engineering Management, including line balancing, time studies, lean methods, and continuous improvement projects.Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, supporting efficient material flow, production planning, and inventory control.Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field; advanced degree is an advantage.Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in apparel or textiles.Proficiency with production planning tools, data analysis, and relevant engineering software (e.g., Excel, ERP/MRP systems, IE tools).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on measurable results.Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach teams and collaborate across departments.Familiarity with safety, quality, and compliance standards in manufacturing environments.Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven production setting.
