We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Specialist to join our team in New Cairo. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to end users, ensuring network security, and supporting technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency across the organization.This role is critical to maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environment that supports the company's business objectives and day-to-day operations.Responsibilites:Provide prompt and effective technical support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network-related issues.Diagnose and resolve technical problems while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Support employees with system configurations, software installations, and troubleshooting activities.Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and internet connectivity.Manage VPN access and ensure secure remote connectivity for employees.Maintain network performance and implement preventive maintenance measures.Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security solutions.Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, SharePoint, email systems, and user permissions.Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices to protect company systems and data.Manage antivirus solutions, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools.Conduct regular data backups and recovery testing to ensure business continuity.Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable data protection requirements.Collaborate with department heads to identify technical requirements and recommend effective technology solutions.Support IT infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, cloud migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.Participate in planning, testing, and deployment of new technologies.Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT hardware, software licenses, and equipment.Track asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.Identify, evaluate, and procure IT hardware, software, and related services.Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.Manage vendor relationships and support contract renewals when required.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT Support, System Administration, or a similar role.Strong experience managing Windows and Mac OS environments.Solid understanding of networking concepts, network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and backup/recovery procedures.Experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking systems.Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Azure, or AWS are considered an advantage.
