Interior Fit-Out Site Engineer (Finishing)

Location: On-site, New Cairo, EgyptCompany: Wright Plan (Interior Design & Fit-Out)Schedule: 6 days/week, site-basedReports to: Project Manager / Head of Site OperationsAbout the roleWright Plan is hiring an Interior Fit-Out Site Engineer to lead day-to-day finishing works from shell & core to handover. You will coordinate architectural finishes with MEP, manage subcontractors (gypsum, flooring, joinery, aluminum & glass, painting), control quality and quantities, and drive on-time delivery.Please note: We are hiring for interior finishing / fit-out experience. Strong structural/RC background without hands-on finishing will not be considered.What you’ll doPlan and supervise daily site activities for interior finishes: gypsum ceilings/partitions, marble/porcelain/wood flooring, wall finishes/painting, waterproofing, sanitary accessories, aluminum & glass, metal works, joinery and decorative items.Review ID/Shop drawings, sections and details; raise RFIs and resolve clashes with MEP (lighting, diffusers, access panels, firestopping, low-current).Prepare look-ahead plans, manpower and material lists; follow up deliveries, lead times, and site logistics.Perform quantity take-off/BOQ for finishes; verify measurements, wastage, and site progress for payment certificates.Implement QA/QC: approve samples & mock-ups, conduct inspections, maintain ITPs/MIR/WIR, tolerance checks, and snag/punch lists until close-out.Coordinate material submittals and vendor approvals (e.g., Knauf/USG gypsum systems, Jotun/Scib paints, Sika/BASF waterproofing).Keep accurate site records: site diary, as-built updates, inspection requests, method statements, NCRs and corrective actions.Enforce HSE and housekeeping standards; ensure PPE and safe work sequences.Lead and mentor foremen/crews; ensure workmanship quality that meets luxury residential/commercialexpectations.Support handover: testing, demonstrations, O&M collection and final documentation.
