Contribute to the development of the risk-based annual Internal Audit Plan. Coordinates with key stakeholders across the organization, including external auditors, business process owners, and senior management.Drafts audit reports and key communications and supports development of materials to the audit committee.Determine the audit assignment detailed scope to cover the risk exposure and achieve the internal audit plan’s objectives. Prepare and manage the audit agenda, meet, and agree with management to kick-off the audit assignment to assess and ensure that all the business risks areas and the management’s feedback are included in the audit assignment and determine plan for the fieldwork. Manager to perform walkthroughs to analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of policies, procedures, processes and controls and confirm the initial risk and controls assessed and whether further risks and controls exist. Prepare audit programs based on identified risks and controls.Select the sample of items to be tested which represents the population using statistical and analytical sampling tools. Manage the audit procedures, including substantive testing, examining and analysing evidences, analytical procedures of data and re-performance of calculations. The audit procedures also include exercising interviewing techniques, inquiry and physical observation. Identify areas where control weakness, inefficiencies, leakage, impaired integrity of financial or operational data or non-compliance were identified based on performed audit procedures. Provide recommendations addressing the identified observations and improving the organization’s operations, financial reporting and compliance with law and regulations. Meet with management & directors to agree on the audit recommendations and commitment to action plan and due date.Ensure the timely implementation of audit recommendations and action plans by holding meetings with departments’ management to follow-up on previously reported audit findings.Manage special projects and assignments (ad-hoc) and performs other duties as assigned, which include but are not limited to: Data Analytics, Quality Reviews and Issue Validations.Supports the compliance & risk management processes. Bachelor in: Accounting / finance / business administration.Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.Preferred: CIA or MBA or masters in finance / risk / governance.Strong report writing & presentation skillsStrong exposure to: Governance, Risk Management, Internal Controls & Audit Committee reportingUnderstanding of: FRA / regulatory environment.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and report-writing abilities.Demonstrated attention to detail and high ethical standards.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.Commitment to continuous professional development.
