Job PurposeThe Internal Control Officer – Finance supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls across finance-related processes to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, approved budgets, and the Delegation of Authority (DOA). The role strengthens financial governance, prevents control breaches, enhances documentation standards, and drives continuous improvement of financial processes.Key Accountabilities Monitor compliance with approved financial policies, procedures, and the DOA. Review financial transactions to ensure proper approvals, supporting documentation, and budget availability. Identify control weaknesses, policy violations, and process gaps; recommend corrective actions. Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of finance policies and procedures. Monitor budget compliance and highlight potential overruns. Ensure proper documentation and record retention for financial transactions. Conduct compliance reviews and control assessments across finance activities. Prepare internal control observations and reports for management review. Follow up on corrective actions and management responses. Promote awareness of internal control requirements and compliance standards.Qualifications & Experience (Competencies Required)Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience 2–4 years of experience in Internal Control, Finance, Internal Audit, Compliance, or related fields.
