Floward Job PurposeThe Inventory Officer supports day-to-day warehouse and inventory activities, ensuring accurate stock records, proper receiving and dispatch of items, and timely reporting. The role contributes to preventing stock discrepancies, maintaining availability of fast-moving products, and supporting smooth operations across Floward’s supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control & Record ManagementMaintain accurate records of stock movements, product codes, and system entries.Support reconciliation of work orders to ensure accuracy of materials and products.Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstock or stock-outs.Escalate discrepancies between physical stock and system records.Receiving & Warehouse CoordinationAssist in receiving incoming items, verifying quantities and quality against purchase requests.Coordinate with procurement and warehouse staff for timely and accurate processing.Check date-sensitive products for expiration and assist in removal or transfer as required.Report any damages or losses to supervisor for corrective action.Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and submit daily/weekly stock balance and stagnancy reports.Assist in generating inventory reports for management review.Track basic operational KPIs (stock accuracy, returns, defective items).Compliance & SupportFollow standard inventory and warehouse procedures to maintain efficiency.Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health guidelines.Assist in filing claims for defective or returned products when required.Provide support to cross-functional teams (Category, Sales, Procurement) in product availability and timely order fulfillment.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).1–2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations, preferably in retail or e-commerce.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar) is an advantage.Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic preferred).
