Implement sector-specific investment strategies aligned with the overall holding company strategy defined by the CIO and Investment Committee.Monitor sector trends, market conditions, and regulatory shifts to inform strategic decision-making within assigned portfolio companies and newWithin domain:Identify value creation levers across existing assets (e.g., M&A, vertical integration, spin-offs, regional expansion).Drive business plan evaluations and capital deployment strategies for new and existing investments.Assess and recommend sector-specific M&A, divestments, and exit opportunities.Lead financial and strategic evaluations for internal use (e.g., equity value estimations, exit readiness assessments).Lead full-cycle execution of transactions within your sector, from investment thesis development to financial close.Manage due diligence processes with third-party advisors (legal, technical, tax, etc.).Support legal negotiations and deal structuring, in collaboration with internal and external counsel.Coordinate with subsidiary CEOs and portfolio leadership to leverage operational insights during transaction execution.Liaise with relevant governmental/regulatory bodies for necessary approvals.Prepare and implement post-deal integration or value creation plans (e.g., 100-day plan).Conduct in-depth analysis of market dynamics, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes within the sector.Build and review financial models, business plans, and valuation analyses to assess investment potential.Compare potential investments with regional and global peers within the same sector.Present investment briefs and memoranda to the CIO and Investment Committee, with clear recommendations and financial return analysis (IRR, NPV,Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and strategic initiatives from portfolio companies within the domain.Prepare and present investment memoranda, approval documents, and sector updates for the CIO and ultimately to the Investment Committee,Deliver reporting that includes:Deal overviews, risks, and mitigations.Base, conservative, and upside case scenarios.Key value drivers and sector-specific opportunities or threats.Support reporting for external partners (e.g., JV partners, regulatory authorities, investment banks).Mentor junior team members assigned to the sector, providing training on modeling, analysis, and deal execution best practices.Supervise and allocate resources effectively across transactions and strategic reviews.Support performance management for investment analysts and associates within the sector team.Ensure access to sector intelligence tools and platforms (e.g., industry research, databases).Manage sector-specific investment strategy execution within target regions (e.g., Saudi Arabia), in coordination with local stakeholders.Identify, evaluate, and recommend investment and JV opportunities relevant to the sector within these geographies.Build networks with sector-specific regulators, partners, and advisors.Coordinate handover of operational projects to business teams post-investment approval.SkillsQualifications:University degree in a business-related discipline from a reputable university.MBA or relevant business and finance focused post graduates is preferable.Average 15 years of relevant work experienceExtensive knowledge and experience in private equity / direct investmentsProven ability to Proactively manage the complete investment processes, including deal origination, deal execution, performance monitoring, and value-add, exits.Familiarity with legal, tax, and regulatory frameworkSuccessful track record / proven investment success.Investment experience in international markets is idealCompetent thinker, proficient in decision-making.Priority Technical CertificationsCFACertified Private Wealth AdvisorCertificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM)
