The role focuses on delivering scalable, efficient and high-quality network solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support service innovation, operational stability and future network evolution.What You’ll DoContribute to technical assessment, planning and design of fixed network solutions aligned with product catalogue, strategy and architectureCollaborate with senior colleagues to gather and analyse business and customer requirements for technical feasibilitySupport technical migrations and solution delivery in partnership with technology teams and stakeholders across business and operationsAct as a technical representative within project teams, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and customer expectationsDevelop low-level designs and produce comprehensive solution documentationPrepare annual planning activities based on business forecasts, ensuring optimal resource allocation within budget constraintsWho You AreDemonstrated experience in fixed network and enterprise planning within a service provider environmentStrong knowledge of fixed network technologies, including planning, implementation and service roll-outExperience in IP networking and telecom environments, with an understanding of operational practicesAbility to translate business needs into practical and scalable technical solutionsDegree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalentProfessional certification such as CCNP, CCIP or equivalent in IP networking domainSolid understanding of WAN access technologies (xDSL, Ethernet, SDH), IP networking and security networkingAdvanced knowledge of IP backbone protocols including RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, VPN technologies and Quality of ServiceFamiliarity with programming or automation tools such as Python, C++ or AnsibleWorking knowledge of data centre technologies (e.g. Cisco Nexus, ACI), virtualisation and cloud platforms is advantageousNot a perfect fit?Concerned you may not meet every requirement?
