Duties and Responsibilities:System Administration and Maintenance:Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, network systems, and other critical hardware.Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability of all IT systems.Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and backups, ensuring system stability and data security.User Support and Troubleshooting:Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.Assist in setting up user accounts, permissions, and access rights for new employees.Ensure timely response to helpdesk requests and technical inquiries from end-users.Network, Security, and Vendor Liaison:Manage the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.Liaise with third-party vendors to resolve IT issues and ensure smooth operations.Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect company systems from unauthorized access, malware, and data breaches.Record and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and other equipment, ensuring everything is up-to-date and properly tracked.Work on project sites to ensure that IT services are available and operational for project teams.Identify opportunities to automate processes and workflows, enhancing efficiency across the organization.Oversee the operation of the company’s ERP system and other essential systems used by the organization.Raise any issues related to these systems with vendors and follow up rigorously to ensure resolution.Ensure that data backup processes are conducted regularly and securely.Maintain accurate records of IT systems, configurations, licenses, and assets.Provide regular reports to the Strategy and Administration Manager on system performance, security incidents, and IT-related issues. Skills:Strong knowledge of network systems, servers, and computer hardware.Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and IT management tools.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Fluency in English and Arabic languages is advantageous for communication with stakeholders.Professional certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are advantageous.Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.Experience in managing IT infrastructure, data governance, and cybersecurity in a medium to large-sized organization.
