Hardware Maintenance TechnicianJob SummaryWe are seeking a Hardware Maintenance Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related IT equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing hardware issues, performing repairs and upgrades, and ensuring all devices operate efficiently to support business operations.Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware failures and technical issues. Replace faulty hardware components such as RAM, hard drives, power supplies, motherboards, and peripherals. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal device performance. Install and upgrade hardware components as required. Support users with hardware-related issues both onsite and remotely. Manage hardware inventory, spare parts, and asset records. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claims. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and support requests. Ensure compliance with company IT policies and standards. Assist in workstation setup, relocation, and deployment activities.RequirementsRequirements Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in hardware maintenance and technical support. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with desktop, laptop, printer, and network device maintenance. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Good communication and customer service skills.
