The role ensures the efficient performance, security, and reliability of systems by monitoring operations, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT assets, and supporting employees with day-to-day IT requirements.The position also supports helpdesk activities, system administration, network maintenance, security monitoring, and coordination with the global IT team for issue escalation when required.Role & Responsibilities Administer servers, laptops, and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, software deployment, security updates, and patches Analyze, maintain, and implement LAN/WAN equipment and networks Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software, thus ensuring daily monitoring and completion of scheduled jobs Update the inventory database of all IT equipment and software licenses Report issues to the global IT team for escalation Provide employees with IT equipment, email accounts for new joiners, internal transfers, and/or leavers, by setting up employee profiles, passwords, etc Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions Conduct regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusion (e.g., hacking, etc.) Research and recommend an innovative, and when applicable, automated approach for the system Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA's mission and vision Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct managerRequirementsBA/BS or Technical Level in Computer Science, CCE, or any relevant fieldExperience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar roleHelp Desk experienceExperience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch managementRelevant Microsoft Certification is preferredGood command of EnglishStrong knowledge of Microsoft (MS) productsFamiliarity with various operating systems and platforms
