OverviewMid-level IT professional (3–6 years experience) responsible for managing internal IT systems, supporting employees, and improving operations through automation and effective use of LLMs. The role combines hands-on support with continuous efficiency improvements. On-site positionResponsibilitiesInternal IT OperationsManage devices, users, and policies via Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365Handle onboarding and offboarding (accounts, devices, access, software)Provide 1st line IT support to employees.Infrastructure & SystemsManage Linux-based VPS and internal servicesMaintain access (SSH, keys), system updates, and backupsTroubleshoot server and connectivity issuesSecurity & Access ControlEnforce MFA, Conditional Access, and device compliance policiesManage user permissions following least-privilege principlesHandle basic security incidents (e.g., compromised accounts, lost devices)Automation & AI-Driven EfficiencyAutomate onboarding, system setup, and repetitive IT tasksUse LLMs to accelerate troubleshooting, scripting, and documentationContinuously reduce manual work and improve IT workflowsMonitoring & DocumentationMonitor system and service uptimeConfigure alerts and resolve recurring issuesMaintain clear runbooks and internal documentationCustomer-Facing Technical Support (Occasional)Assist Application Engineers with technical escalationsTroubleshoot MATLAB license servers, network access, and environment setupRequirementsMust Have3–6 years of experience in IT systems administrationHands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365Strong Linux administration skills (SSH, services, networking basics)Scripting ability (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)Proven troubleshooting skills across endpoints and serversDemonstrated use of LLMs to improve technical workflows (automation, debugging, or support)Good level of English (written and spoken)Nice to HaveExperience with VPS or cloud environmentsKnowledge of reverse proxies, TLS, or networking fundamentalsFamiliarity with MATLAB license servers environments
