We are seeking a Confirmed/Senior Systems Integration and IVVQ (Installation, Integration, Verification, and Qualification) Technician/Engineer to lead the on-site deployment, testing, and lifecycle maintenance of advanced Naval Integrated Communication Systems (ICS).This role involves executing critical site activities (referred to as ICIT) onboard 10 Egyptian military vessels. The scope spans from receiving equipment at the shipyard to final Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT). The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in naval electronics, RF/cabling, network infrastructure, and system troubleshooting within military environments.Key Responsibilities1. Installation, Integration & Commissioning (STW Phase)System Deployment: Perform unitary equipment installation, software configuration, and customization of integrated systems using official installation manuals.Hardware & Cabling: Execute complex equipment cabling, wiring, and configuration (e.g., radios, modems). Exhibit advanced cable expertise to define, rework, and repair cabling in case of defects or design changes.Compliance Validation: Issue certificates of installation availability prior to Setting to Work (STW), ensuring full compliance of interlocks and external rack wiring.IT & Network Infrastructure: Perform network switch updates using manuals and execute headless IT infrastructure/server updates without manuals.2. Testing, Verification & Qualification (IVVQ Phase)Test Documentation: Author, update, and review formal test procedures in alignment with standard engineering practices.Trials Execution: Drive dry runs of test sheets and execute comprehensive verification and non-regression tests prior to formal acceptance phases.Acceptance Campaigns: Lead and support Harbour Acceptance Tests (HAT) and Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT).3. Troubleshooting & Configuration ManagementIssue Resolution: Identify, qualify, and document technical Fault/Problem Reports. Investigate root causes and solve complex issues in Windows, Linux, and Virtual Machine environments using specialized diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark).Documentation: Maintain strict configuration management by authoring weekly progress reports, test reports, and client acceptance documentation.4. Note: Denial of security clearance results in immediate termination of the mission.Workplace, Travel & Training ScheduleInitial Training: A mandatory onboarding and platform awareness period lasting between 2 weeks to 3 months will take place at defense reference platforms in France.Primary Location: Shipyard / Onboard vessels in Egypt (100% on-site during deployment phases).Project Lifespan: This is a long-term initiative rolling out iteratively across 10 separate shipsets, scheduled to run through 2031.
