Its factory produces wooden doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, wall panels, built-in furniture, and complete ID works for hotel guest rooms and public areas, offering wide exposure to high-end joinery and woodwork projects.Role Description The Joinery and Woodwork Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves reviewing architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery and woodwork packages. Daily tasks include conducting material take-offs, calculating labor and production costs, and coordinating with engineering, production, and procurement teams to validate pricing and lead times. The Estimator will prepare detailed quotations, value engineering options, and cost breakdowns for clients and internal stakeholders, while maintaining a database of prices and suppliers. The role also includes tracking project costs against estimates, updating budgets as needed, and supporting the sales and project management teams during negotiations and project handover.Qualifications Strong estimation and cost analysis skills in joinery and woodwork, including material take-offs, labor calculations, and budgeting.Technical understanding of woodwork manufacturing processes, materials, fittings, finishes, and fire-rated door systems.Ability to read and interpret architectural, ID, and shop drawings, with attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, estimating tools, and CAD or drawing-review software.Effective communication and coordination skills for working with design, production, procurement, and sales teams.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.Experience in joinery, fit-out, or woodwork manufacturing, preferably within hospitality, residential, or commercial projects.Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, with a collaborative and safety-conscious approach.Previous experience in GCC or large-scale factory environments is an advantage.
