This role ensures that all joinery works are executed efficiently, meet technical specifications, and align with project quality standards and delivery timelines. Acting as a bridge between design, engineering, procurement, and factory teams, the Joinery Production Engineer supports the full lifecycle of joinery production—from shop drawings review through manufacturing and final assembly.The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in joinery manufacturing with hands-on production experience, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate complex workflows in a fast-paced modular construction environment.Key Responsibilities:• Review and interpret joinery shop drawings, production drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Plan and coordinate joinery production activities to meet project schedules and delivery deadlines.• Liaise with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and optimize joinery details for manufacturability.• Ensure all joinery works comply with approved materials, finish specifications, and quality standards.• Monitor factory production processes, including cutting, assembly, finishing, and quality control.• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials, hardware, and fittings.• Implement production improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize costs.• Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure high-end finishing standards are consistently achieved.• Support installation teams with technical guidance related to joinery elements and site adjustments.• Maintain production logs, reporting progress, challenges, and performance metrics to management.• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within factory operations.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production deliverables with overall project requirements.Qualifications and Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Wood Science, or a related field; relevant technical diplomas are also considered.• 5–8 years of experience in joinery production, woodworking manufacturing, or high-end fit-out environments.• Strong technical understanding of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and production techniques.• Experience in factory-based production environments, preferably within modular construction or fit-out industries.• Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and production documentation.• Knowledge of machinery, tools, and modern joinery manufacturing processes (CNC, edge banding, finishing systems, etc.).• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Excellent coordination and communication skills across production, design, and procurement teams.• Proficiency in relevant software; familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM tools, or digital manufacturing platforms is an advantage.• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities simultaneously.What makes a true AMANAian?• We know that our company growth and success come from our people who continuously drive our company, partners and clients forward.
