Junior Training Support ExpertNTU International is preparing a proposal for the EU-funded project “Technical Assistance to ECOWAS in Transport Governance”, which aims to strengthen sustainable, smart, resilient and safe mobility systems across the ECOWAS region in West Africa. The project will support ECOWAS institutions, Member States, and regional stakeholders in improving transport governance, corridor management, infrastructure planning, climate resilience, and regional connectivity.The Technical Assistance will support training, institutional learning, and capacity-building activities for ECOWAS institutions and transport sector stakeholders across the region.NTU International is seeking a Junior Training Support Expert to support coordination, organisation, and implementation of training and capacity-building activities across the ECOWAS region.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the organisation and coordination of workshops, training sessions, seminars, and learning events;Assist in preparation of training materials, presentations, reports, and workshop documentation;Support logistical and administrative arrangements related to training and capacity-building activities;Assist in stakeholder communication, participant coordination, and event management activities;Support collection, organisation, and management of training-related data and documentation;Assist in preparation of meeting minutes, progress reports, and monitoring tools related to training activities;Support digital learning activities, online workshops, and knowledge-sharing platforms;Coordinate with trainers, consultants, institutions, and project stakeholders under the supervision of senior experts;Support implementation of visibility and communication activities related to training initiatives;Contribute to monitoring and reporting of training and institutional capacity-building activities.EducationBachelor’s degree in education, public administration, social sciences, communications, transport, management, or another relevant field.General Professional ExperienceMinimum 3 years of professional experience in training support, project coordination, event management, or administrative support;Experience working on development cooperation or donor-funded projects is considered an advantage;Experience working in developing countries or multicultural environments is considered an asset.Specific Professional ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience supporting workshops, training programmes, institutional learning initiatives, or capacity-building activities;Experience in preparation of training materials, workshop coordination, or stakeholder engagement activities;Experience supporting EU-funded or international development projects is considered an advantage;Experience with digital communication tools, online learning platforms, or event coordination systems is considered an asset;Experience working with public institutions, NGOs, universities, or regional organisations is considered an advantage.LanguagesEnglish or French (C1 mandatory);Working knowledge of the other language is considered an asset.Please note that inclusion in the expert pool does not guarantee immediate assignment.
