This role is critical to ensuring seamless 24-hour compliance operations, timely case processing, and effective cross-regional collaboration.📍 Contract role based in Egypt (Night and Day Shifts available)About the RoleAs a Compliance & KYC Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding nsave’s platform and customers. You’ll conduct KYC reviews, investigate suspicious activity, manage compliance queues during Americas business hours, and ensure structured handovers to global colleagues.Your work will directly contribute to maintaining regulatory standards, mitigating financial crime risks, and strengthening operational resilience across time zones.Key ObjectivesSuccess in this role looks like:Delivering reliable compliance coverageProcessing KYC reviews and escalations within defined SLAsReducing overtime burden on existing team membersEnsuring seamless end-of-shift case handovers between regionsSupporting 24-hour global compliance continuityWhat You’ll Be Responsible ForKYC Reviews & Customer Due DiligenceConduct KYC and KYB reviews for new and existing customersPerform identity verification and enhanced due diligence (EDD) where requiredApply risk-based decision-making aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirementsCompliance Escalations & InvestigationsInvestigate flagged transactions and suspicious activity alertsReview sanctions, PEP, and adverse media hits using screening tools (e.g., World-Check, ComplyAdvantage)Escalate high-risk or complex cases appropriatelySupport cross-border and cross-regional investigations in collaboration with global compliance colleaguesQueue & Operations ManagementManage and prioritise compliance queues during Americas business hoursEnsure timely processing within established turnaround timesExecute structured end-of-shift handovers to ensure continuity on open or sensitive casesProcess Improvement & CollaborationIdentify inefficiencies in compliance workflows and propose improvementsContribute to documentation and refinement of SOPsPartner with product, operations, and risk teams to enhance compliance controlsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience & BackgroundBackground in AML, Financial Crime (FinCrime), and/or financial servicesExperience conducting KYC, EDD, and transaction monitoring reviewsPrior experience in fintech or digital financial services preferredExperience working in FinCrime operations environmentsTechnical SkillsHands-on experience with sanctions and screening tools (e.g., World-Check, ComplyAdvantage)Familiarity with risk-based frameworks and regulatory expectationsStrong analytical and investigative skillsComfortable working with case management and compliance systemsPersonal AttributesExcellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English required)Strong judgement and ability to make defensible risk-based decisionsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working independently during regional coverage hoursCollaborative mindset for cross-timezone teamworkAbout nsaveFounded by Amer Baroudi and Abdallah AbuHashem, nsave operates from London and Geneva with a global team.
