Job Summary:This role ensures efficient collection processes by monitoring receivables, resolving credit policy payment issues, and enforces policy compliance. In addition, the role manages client relationships, ensures timely payments, resolves discrepancies, escalates payment violations, and ensures accurate financial reporting.Job Responsibilities:Ensure preparation of monthly MIS reports by collecting, analyzing, and compiling financial data to provide insights for informed decision-making.Handle collections and optimize AR performance by monitoring collection KPIs, improving receivable turnover and reducing days of receivables, to enhance collection ratios.Review and send cancellation statements for all channels by validating data accuracy and ensuring timely distribution to maintain compliance and proper financial reporting.Conduct regular follow-ups and meetings with major clients, brokers, and agents to strengthen relationships, address collection-related issues, and enhance overall credit control efficiency.Monitor OS Balances by LOB & Customer segment by tracking payment adherence, identifying potential violations, and escalating issues to ensure compliance with financial agreements.Control verification cycles by overseeing processes and ensuring accurate financial reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.Follow up on outstanding, unapplied, and unidentified receipts by reviewing transaction records, coordinating investigations, and tracking resolution progress, to ensure accurate allocation, timely reconciliation, and resolution of financial discrepancies.Ensure accurate credit analysis is conducted to support the approval of customer credit facilities in line with internal policies.Review and update credit policies by identifying risks in AR balances and ensuring proper implementation with stakeholders.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5-7 years of experience of relevant experience.Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.Advanced Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
