Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lead Poultry Veterinarian position based in Cairo, Egypt. The Lead Poultry Veterinarian will oversee and manage poultry health and welfare across multiple farms, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating illnesses, advising on best animal husbandry practices, implementing preventative measures, and collaborating with farm managers to optimize livestock health. The role also involves monitoring biosecurity protocols and engaging in ongoing research to enhance poultry production outcomes. Qualifications In-depth knowledge of Poultry care and health management, including disease prevention and treatmentExperience with Agriculture operations and processes related to animal productionStrong background in Farms and Livestock managementUnderstanding of Animal Husbandry practices with a focus on poultry welfare optimizationVeterinary degree with a specialization in poultry healthProficiency in establishing and maintaining biosecurity measuresProblem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams effectivelyFluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantageRelevant certifications and prior experience in poultry veterinary services are preferred
