Job Purpose JOB DESCRIPTION Training instructor is responsible for the design, development, and hands-on delivery of highly specialized technical training programs. Tracksand reports on compliance with both internal standards and mandatory industry regulations. Utilizes a blended learning approach, combiningclassroom instruction, practical simulator drills, and on-the-job coaching to ensure critical knowledge transfer and verifiable competencyassurance across all drilling personnel.Responsibilities & DutiesSafety & Compliance DutiesMaintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with the company’s QHSSE policies, Management Systems, ADES Zero Tolerance Policies, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices, and complies with the ADES WAY, rules to live by.Will be a champion of Safety, providing exemplary leadership and commitment to all safety initiatives within the business.Places Safety as a true north, while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.Will ensure that safety protocols are adhered to.Role DutiesTraining Design And DevelopmentCollaborates with subject matter experts and department/functional managers to identify training needs and develop comprehensivetraining program content that aligns with the organization's objectives and safety standards.Designs and develops innovative training content, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and hands-onactivities.Creates learning materials that align with learning objectives and engage participants through various instructional strategies.Training DeliveryConducts and delivers engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels, utilizing variousmethodologies such as classroom training, on-the-job training, simulations, e-learning, and hands-on exercises.Adapts training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and participant needs.Technical Training (Subject Matter Expert)Focuses on providing specialized technical training relevant to the jobs, including equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.Ensures that employees are well-equipped to handle the complexities of the job at the rig site and adhere to stringent safety measures.Develop a deep understanding of the subject matter (relevant to the job) to effectively convey concepts, best practices, and industrytrends to learners.Stay up to date with advancements in the field to ensure training content remains current and relevant.Assessment And EvaluationDevelops and administers assessments, tests/quizzes, and evaluations to measure participant learning outcomes.Analyzes assessment data to identify areas for improvement and adjust training strategies accordingly.Collaboration And CommunicationCollaborates with internal subject matter experts, training team members, and stakeholders to gather insights and develop effectivetraining materials.Communicates training objectives, content, and schedules to participants and relevant departments.Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and open discussion.Addresses participant questions, concerns, and feedback during training sessions.Education & ExperienceUniversity Degree in a relevant technical field of studies.Min 3-5 Years of experience as an instructor for approx. 3-5 years.HSE BackgroundOur Company ABOUT US Delivering world-class drilling servicesHeadquartered in Al Khobar of Saudi Arabia, ADES owns and operates an elite portfolio of offshore and onshore rigs across the Middle East and Asia.
