- Reviewing and supervising agreements & application of the retail and corporate banking group and ensuring their legality in light in of the CBE regulation & application laws.- Assist retail and corporate team in taking decision & offering new products to customers on light of the applicable Egyptian laws.- Attending meeting & contribute to bank strategy & policy- making and ensure that matters related to retail customers are properly handled according to Egyptian laws.- Providing different departments within the retail division with the appropriate legal opinion.- Supervising subordinates within the Retail and Corporate section in the legal department and ensuring their implementation to the assigned tasks.- Study and propose to relevant authorities inside the bank, amendments to SOPs, or manuals that aim an increasing the bank’s profitability and improving customer satisfaction in line with the bands SQS strategy.- Ensure staff awareness & adhere to bank code of conduct, external related policies and procedures, CBE regulation, banks & secrecy law.- Design and implement mechanisms needed for offering new products to MBE- retail customers.- Deputizing the Egypt legal heeds in his absence.- Perform any additional related tasks as assigned by country Manager.- Lead the incoming lawyers in the legal retail and corporate section.- Providing legal advice to human resources team.- • Corporate and Structured Finance- • Business Banking- • TGM- • RBG- • Fintech Projects and Partnerships- • HO Relationship Matters- • GTB- • Retail Banking legal matters- • Digital projects and transformation initiativesMonitoring legal action from and against the bank to protect the interest of the bank towards the others
