Job PurposeLead the development and execution of Technology Applications audit strategy to assess control effectiveness, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance technology risk management across the Bank.Key Result Areas- Develop and implement risk-based audit strategies for Technology Applications.- Conduct and oversee audits to evaluate control effectiveness and identify deficiencies.- Assess compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.- Identify emerging technology risks through ongoing engagement and assessments.- Provide assurance on cybersecurity, operational resilience, and digital platforms.- Lead audit execution ensuring quality and timelines.- Prepare and present audit reports to senior management.- Guide and develop audit team members.- Support integrated audits across the Bank.- Review IT controls for cloud, APIs, and emerging technologies.Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working RelationshipsOperates within Internal Audit governance and banking regulations. Maintains independence. Collaborates with audit management, business, IT, and risk teams. Engages senior management on audit outcomesProblem SolvingEvaluates complex IT environments and emerging risks. Applies judgment on control effectiveness and resolves cross-functional challenges.Decision Making Authority & ResponsibilityDefines audit scope and methodology. Approves findings and reports. Provides assurance opinions. Allocates resources and escalates key risks.Knowledge, Skills and Experience- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.- At least 10 years of experience in IT audit, preferably in the banking industry- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), CISSP and or other relevant professional certifications.- In-depth knowledge of IT audit methodologies, tools, and techniques related to cybersecurity and recent technology stack including but not limited to, cloud, API, microservices, and emerging technologies.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and mitigating risks related to advanced digital footprint.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to work independently, lead a team, and collaborate across departments.
