The Logistics Account Executive will manage day-to-day freight brokerage activities, including sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, and monitoring shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The role includes maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing proactive shipment updates. The professional in this role will also identify and pursue new business opportunities, prepare quotations, and collaborate closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, and risk to support smooth execution of logistics and trade flows. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining accurate records in relevant systems, preparing basic reports, and adhering to company policies and industry regulations.QualificationsStrong freight brokerage skills, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, shipment tracking, and basic knowledge of logistics documentation.Proven account management capabilities, with experience managing ongoing client relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated new business development skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and supporting the preparation of commercial offers.Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or commodity trading is highly desirable.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.Proficiency in common office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email tools); familiarity with logistics or CRM systems is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt, in a collaborative, multicultural team and to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
