A leading international manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager.This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the movement of raw materials, finished goods, and related resources to ensure efficient production and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics planning, supply chain management, and a proven ability to streamline operations in a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Logistics Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of raw materials, components, and finished products.Supply Chain Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes to maintain inventory levels and support production schedules.Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to minimize waste and ensure availability for production and customer orders.Transportation Management: Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, including selecting carriers, optimizing shipping routes, and ensuring compliance with regulations.Production Support: Collaborate with production teams to align logistics plans with manufacturing schedules, ensuring seamless operations.Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce logistics and supply chain costs while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to track performance metrics, forecast demand, and improve operational efficiency.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all logistics activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including safety and environmental standards.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor logistics staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment.Previous experience leading teams in a production environment.Proven expertise in logistics planning, inventory management, and transportation coordination.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)Solid knowledge of ExcelExcellent command of English, both written and spoken.Solid knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and practices.The company is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
