Oversee all customs clearance operations for company imports and exports.Monitor shipments from country of origin until arrival at company warehouses.Ensure preparation of all required customs documentation (Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Packing List, Quality Certificates, etc.).Review shipping and customs documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.Manage invoices, certificates, shipping contracts, and power of attorney documents.Ensure shipment data matches Nafeza system requirements and customs release procedures.Develop plans to reduce clearance time and minimize customs penalties and delays.Evaluate and compare external customs clearance brokers and select the most efficient providers.Improve the clearance cycle to reduce demurrage and storage costs.Verify the accuracy of HS Codes to avoid classification discrepancies with customs authorities.Review customs duties, VAT, and related fees.Submit re-evaluation requests or appeals when significant cost discrepancies occur.Monitor sea, air, and land shipments.Lead and supervise internal and external customs clearance teams.Handle unexpected delays in shipment clearance.Resolve customs disputes such as: Weight discrepancies, Price discrepancies, Classification differences, Missing documents and Inspection and examination issues 8–12 years in customs clearance, with 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Expertise in handling sensitive shipments (chemical, food, machinery, spare parts, raw materials).Strong hands-on experience with Nafeza platform and other systems: CargoX, ACI, ICSExport & Import Control AuthorityKnowledge of customs procedures including Temporary release, Re-export, Transit shipments and Customs appeals and dispute resolutionCandidates residing in or near 6th of October City are preferred.
