We are hiring a Low-Voltage Security Systems Specialist to support the remote programming, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of camera, access control, and fire alarm systems.The primary focus of this role is Ubiquiti UniFi cameras, UniFi Access, and Potter fire alarm systems. Experience with other low-voltage platforms is helpful but not required.This is a technical systems role, not general desktop IT support.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and support Ubiquiti UniFi cameras and UniFi Access systemsAssist with programming and technical coordination for Potter fire alarm systemsAssign IP addresses and adjust basic network and device settingsTest cameras, card readers, door access, video feeds, and system connectivityTroubleshoot software, network, and device communication issuesPrepare systems remotely before final installation or deploymentCoordinate with project managers and field technicians during setup and troubleshootingDocument system settings, testing results, and completed configurationsProvide occasional support for urgent technical issues when neededRequired QualificationsHands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi cameras or UniFi AccessExperience working with Potter fire alarm systems or similar commercial fire alarm platformsUnderstanding of IP networking, including IP addresses, gateways, and device connectivityExperience with low-voltage security, surveillance, access control, or fire alarm systemsAbility to troubleshoot technical issues systematicallyStrong attention to detailClear English communication skillsAbility to work independently and coordinate with remote field teamsAvailability during U.S. business hoursPosition DetailsFull-time, Remote, U.S. business hours, Occasional availability for urgent technical support
