Job Purpose:Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Main job duties and responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions to prevent breakdowns.Diagnose issues in chillers, AHUs, ventilation, and refrigeration systems and carry out necessary repairs.Improve HVAC efficiency by adjust controls, calibrate components, and maintain proper airflow and temperature.Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors for maintenance schedules, repairs, and system upgrades.Keep detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs for reporting and compliance.Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of essential components for timely maintenance and repairs.Assist with the installation, testing, and startup of new HVAC systems and equipment.Perform regular inspections and tests to ensure system reliability and find areas for improvement.Follow safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to ensure compliance and a safe workplace.Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty.Educational background and previous experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Certification in HVAC maintenance, or energy management is a plus.From 2 – 3 years of experience in HVAC system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
