Our expertise includes OCTG Services, API & Premium Connection Rethreading, Machine Shop Manufacturing, Repair, Bucking Operations, Welding, Hard banding, and related workshop and field services.Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and optimum performance of the company's workshop equipment and operational machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment improvement, and supporting uninterrupted workshop operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, supervise, and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control system failures.Maintain and repair CNC lathes, threading machines, bucking units, welding machines, generators, compressors, and workshop equipment.Perform fault diagnosis and coordinate major repairs with OEMs or specialized service providers when required.Develop preventive maintenance schedules and monitor equipment performance.Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts documentation.Coordinate with Operations to minimize equipment downtime and maximize machine availability.Monitor spare parts inventory and recommend stock levels for critical equipment.Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modification projects.Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and safe maintenance practices.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.This position is site-based and requires working on a rotational schedule at the company's operational sites. It is not an office-based position.Equipment Experience (Highly Preferred)Hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting one or more of the following:Weiler CNC Lathes (E70 / E90) with Siemens Control SystemsMegaBore MachinesBucking UnitsWelding MachinesIndustrial GeneratorsAir CompressorsHydraulic SystemsOverhead Cranes & Material Handling EquipmentMachine Shop Equipment Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.Minimum 5–8 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas, Petroleum Services, Machine Shops, or Heavy Industrial environments.Strong troubleshooting skills covering mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment.Experience with CNC machine maintenance is highly preferred.Familiarity with Siemens CNC control systems is a strong advantage.Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems and reliability engineering.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Personal SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.Strong communication and teamwork skills.High sense of responsibility and ownership.Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
