Job Overview:Mighty Foods is seeking a highly motivated Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team at our Rice Cake and Savory Snacks facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring consistent product quality, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the factory floor.This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for food production, process innovation, and operational excellence in a high-speed FMCG environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily production operations of rice cakes and savory snacks, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.Monitor and analyze production line performance (OEE, yield, throughput), identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.Develop and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machinery, line changeovers, and cleaning routines.Work closely with maintenance and QA teams to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.).Support new product trials, line commissioning, and scale-up of new SKUs on existing and future production lines.Implement Lean Manufacturing practices, including Kaizen, 5S, and waste reduction initiatives.Track and report on key production KPIs, offering insights to improve cost efficiency and productivity.Assist in planning and scheduling production runs in coordination with supply chain and planning teams.Train and support operators and technicians to ensure consistent production practices and continuous skills developmentQualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment (rice cakes/snacks preferred).Solid understanding of food processing machinery (puffing, coating, seasoning, packaging, etc.).Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data collection and root cause analysis.Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other food safety and quality systems.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, production tracking tools, and reporting systems (ERP/MES knowledge is a plus).Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.How to apply?If you're ready to make an impact and grow with one of Egypt’s leading food and beverage companies, please send your updated CV to: 📧 career@mighty-foods.comSubject Line: Production Engineer Application – [Your Full Name]
