Maintenance Lead

Responsibilities:Assists the maintenance manager in developing and implementing the schedule of preventive maintenance to ensure the efficiency of the machines.Monitors the repair of emergency breakdowns and the operation of plant equipment and systems continuously.Gathers data and develops periodic reports concerning machine performance to minimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improvement.Liaises with external suppliers concerning the installation, replacement, and renewal of new lines to ensure machine efficiency.Responsible for planning, monitoring, executing, and completing all projects.Participates with the maintenance manager in setting the annual budget for the section to monitor expenditures against the budget.Ensures his team adheres to the required standards such as Industrial Health & Safety, GMP, Food Safety (HACCP), uniform, and personal hygieneSupervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities, the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime.Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities, the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance personnel.Monitors spare parts needs in the section and reviews them with the maintenance engineer through the SAP system to define what to purchase, and to control and monitor inventory.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering.3-5 years of experience, preferably in the food industry/FMCG manufacturing.Strong experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.Location: 10th of Ramadan, Sharkia, Egypt
