Job PurposeThe role holder is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the entire payroll process and maintaining all related MIS for MGNE. Ensure compliance with Egypt’s labor laws and tax regulations, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in processing employee salaries, benefits, and deductions. The role involves collaboration with PICG, finance, vendors and other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The role will be covering:Lead and manage end to end the employee experience journey at MGNE. Administration of payroll and staff benefits ensuring they are within MGN policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, income tax regulations, and any other applicable rules regarding payroll.In charge of the department’s day –to-day function.Collaborate closely with the SVP Employee Experience and Head of PICG(MGNE) on processes related to payrolls, payment and policy.Coordinate with internal PICG functions to support business needs and contribute to bank-wide projects, ensuring alignment with our objectives and maintaining high performance standards across MGNE. Overall administration of staff benefits like End of Service, loan subsidies, Leave HRMS recon, queries, reimbursements etc.Coordinate with the finance department to ensure correct accounting and cost allocation of payroll expenses.Manage all Risks and Governance aspects for MGNE.Key Result AreasPrepare and process payroll on a monthly/bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies as per agreed timelinesMaintain and update employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, changes in pay rates, and deductions.Ensure seamless off-boarding and settlement process and provide all the necessary information and supportEnsure all exit process are completed within the time frameManage and oversee the monthly payroll process with strict adherence to SLAsEnsure HRMS is up to date and accurate at all times. Ensure all employee files are kept up to date at all times. Oversee track and control all payroll vendor related actions. Oversee track and control benefits, reimbursements, expenses and payment. Assist with year-end reporting, including the preparation of tax reports and other required filings.Maintain up-to-date records of employee benefits, leaves, and absencesPrepare and monitor payroll audits, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action.Maintain payroll, expenses and job-related historical records by creating a tracking and control mechanism and retrieval system, keeping past and current records, and ensuring all employee related documents and records are in line with the local regulations.Reports & System – (Fusion, Payroll, HRMS, Benefits, Reimbursement)Develop and maintain the MIS for employee data, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.Analyze data trends and provide insights to management to support decision-making.Prepare payroll reports and ensure accurate reconciliation in regards to taxation.Ensuring all staff details are captured in Fusion.Reconciliation of attrition, benefits and payroll benefits and payments related to PICG.Reporting job-related data, and ad-hoc reports for PICG management.Participate in improvement initiatives within the PICG team.Service productivityHandling employees’ inquiries and responding to them in timely manner.Oversee and ensure proper filing of employee recordsSupport in solving employee’s issues and provide them with guidance. Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Payroll Vendor managementStaying up to date with labor laws in Egypt.Provide counseling on PICG policies and procedures.Knowledge, Skills And ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.5+ years of experience in payroll management in Egypt.Strong knowledge of Egypt’s labor laws, taxation, and employee benefits regulations.Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Vendor managementProficiency in managing Oracle, Fusion, EDMS and related PICG applications government applicationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to interact and coordinate with staff across all levels.
