Responsible for monitoring and communicating developments in the banking industry that may have an impact on QNB Egypt. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Gather and study relevant market and competitors’ information, using internal and external data sources, to review market position and determine threats. 2. Conduct regular calls / visits to obtain informative data about banking products. 3. Utilize all in-house tools to obtain and analyze the substantial amount of relevant, needed, and timely data as well as partnership with third parties to obtain deep insights. 4. Observe the financial services market, both locally and globally, and review ad hoc analysis to provide market insights, including new products, trends and pricing. 5. Analyze the local and international Digital and startups’ practices. 6. Conduct Mystery shopping activities to generate market insights. 7. Prepare quarterly reports on QNB responsiveness to local and international market offering. 9. Conduct comprehensive market research for all segments on monthly basis. 10. Guide the team to conduct the regular research activities along with the required analysis and recommendations such as ALCO research, Annual tariffs preparation …etc. 11. Prepare analysis & regulatory reports, along with the weekly news and EGP interest rates weekly surveys. 12. Conduct & abide by the agreed upon timeline of all periodic reports/market research/market analysis/ surveys required through the year for all Business line Sectors such as Retail, SME, Corporate, digital, financial inclusion… etc 13. Perform any other tasks/missions that might be requested/needed relevant to the Market intelligence/Research duties that were not mentioned above. 14. Cooperate with other entities (Communications Department, Purchasing Department, third parties, suppliers…etc) to guarantee smooth flow of information and material. 15. Adhere to QNB policies & procedures in order to guarantee that QNB business in conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules & Regulations, as well as International Standards. 16. Apply Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible Dimensions of the Job: The job serves all the activities associated with developing and executing all QNB research and analysis. Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in a relevant field with excellent knowledge of banking products in the market for Market Intelligence Lead Less than 1 year of experience in a relevant field with excellent knowledge of banking products in the market for the Market Intelligence Executive Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills Perfect analytical and observational skills Ability to work independently on multiple projects Fluency in Arabic and English written/spoken Very good computer skills Working Conditions: External visits for full market knowledge.
