Marketing Director — Expo StudiosLocation: Egypt (serving MENA & GCC regions) Reports to: COO Department: Marketing About Expo StudiosExpo Studios is an exhibition design studio specializing in helping companies create pavilions, booths, and conferences while producing content for screens including videos, 3D motion graphics, games, and graphic designs. We serve clients across the MENA and GCC regions.Role OverviewThe Marketing Director will lead and build the studio's marketing function, driving brand visibility, lead generation, and market positioning across the MENA and GCC exhibition and events industry. This role sits under the COO and works closely with the Creative Department to align marketing output with the studio's creative identity.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that positions Expo Studios as a leading exhibition design studio in the region. Build and manage the studio's digital presence across social media, website, and industry platforms. Plan and oversee lead generation campaigns targeting companies seeking exhibition design, pavilion builds, and digital content production. Coordinate with the Content Strategy team (under the Creative Department) to ensure marketing materials reflect the studio's creative standards. Manage the marketing budget and report on ROI across all channels. Build relationships with industry media, event organizers, and potential partners across MENA and GCC. Oversee the production of case studies, showreels, and portfolio materials that showcase completed projects. Track market trends in the exhibition, events, and experiential design space to identify new business opportunities. Represent the studio at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Manage and mentor the second member of the marketing team. Requirements5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or director-level role.Proven experience in the events, exhibitions, experiential design, or creative agency space, ideally within the MENA or GCC market.Strong understanding of B2B marketing, especially targeting corporate clients and government entities.Demonstrated success in digital marketing including social media strategy, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and paid campaigns.Experience with brand building for creative or design-driven companies.Excellent command of both Arabic and English (written and spoken).Ability to manage agency relationships and outsourced marketing vendors.Strong portfolio or track record of marketing campaigns that generated measurable business results.Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing analytics platforms.Preferred QualificationsBackground in or strong appreciation for spatial design, 3D, motion graphics, or interactive media.Experience marketing to Saudi Vision 2030-related projects or government tenders.Existing network within the GCC exhibition and events industry.Experience working in a lean startup or growing studio environment where hands-on execution is expected alongside strategy.
