Its services focus on improving project efficiency, reducing risks, and enabling data-driven decision-making through intelligent models and integrated digital processes.Role Description The Mechanical BIM Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The person in this role will develop, coordinate, and maintain mechanical BIM models for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project standards and BIM execution plans. Responsibilities include generating and updating construction drawings, performing clash detection and coordination with other disciplines, and supporting design teams with accurate and timely mechanical BIM outputs. The Mechanical BIM Engineer will collaborate closely with MEP, architectural, and civil teams to resolve design conflicts, optimize systems layouts, and support digital delivery workflows in line with ISO-based standards. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting project reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of BIM processes and templates.Qualifications Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, including model creation, coordination, and clash detection for mechanical systems.Strong experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination, with a focus on mechanical building services and integrated system layouts.Ability to produce and interpret detailed construction drawings and shop drawings for mechanical systems in line with project specifications and standards.Understanding of Architecture and Civil Engineering fundamentals to coordinate mechanical models with structural and architectural designs.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.Experience in BIM standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 19650) and digital delivery processes is preferred.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD or similar BIM/CAD tools); knowledge of Dynamo or other automation tools is an advantage.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to document and present technical information clearly.
