Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Purpose:Responsible for preparing mechanical designs and calculations required for refrigeration and freezing plant projects, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and international standards, and supporting the technical office team in developing engineering solutions and executing projects efficiently.Job Responsibilities:Design & Calculations:Perform thermal calculations (Cooling & Heating Load Calculations).Design piping networks, ducting systems, and compressor systems.Determine capacities of compressors, evaporators, condensers, and auxiliary equipment.Select materials and equipment in accordance with specifications and standards.Drawings & Documentation:Prepare detailed and shop drawings using design software (AutoCAD, Revit).Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for equipment and systems.Participate in the preparation of tender documents and technical contracts.Review & Technical Support:Review shop drawings and technical submittals provided by suppliers.Provide technical support to site teams during installation and maintenance.Contribute to the preparation of As-Built drawings after project completion.Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.+3 years in relevant experience.Proficiency in design and calculation software (AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, SolidWorks).Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, ISO).Good command of English (reading and writing) for reviewing catalogs and technical references.Strong analytical and mechanical design skills.
