Job Title: Mechanical Tender Team Leader Engineer Location: Alexandria, Egypt Experience Required: 6–8 YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Tender Team Leader Engineer to lead the tendering process for mechanical systems and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tender preparation activities, reviewing technical and commercial requirements, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring the submission of competitive and compliant bids.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the mechanical tendering team throughout the bid preparation process. Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and contractual requirements. Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals for mechanical projects. Coordinate with estimation, procurement, engineering, and project teams to gather required information for tenders. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for mechanical systems. Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines. Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering proposals. Participate in tender clarification meetings and client discussions when required. Maintain a database of tender records, supplier quotations, and historical cost data. Support management with bid strategy development and tender performance reporting. RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 6–8 years of experience in mechanical tendering, estimation, or proposals engineering. Previous experience leading or mentoring a tendering team is preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical Systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Preferred QualificationsExperience in construction or MEP contracting companies. Familiarity with local and international codes and standards. Strong commercial awareness and cost control knowledge.
