Mechanical Tendering Engineer

Job Responsibilities:Responsible for designing, developing, and managing tenders for projects.Participate in the bidding process by providing accurate cost estimationComply to the tendering policies & procedures Support in the pre-qualification bid stage in terms of quantifying cost factors, rates, materials and labor expensesEnsure product technical compliance with the client requirements’Collect information & verify updated market prices, new suppliers in alignment with the Procurement Department based on previously executed projectsStudy and evaluate received subcontractors’ offersEstimate the project's cost and pricing in terms of dry cost, labor cost…etc.Collect raw material prices by floating all the RFQs in the formal form to the suppliers in order to collect offersReview and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.Review/assess technical specifications, BOQ, and drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.Prepare proposals for technical and commercial offers.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringFrom 2 – 4 Years of experience in similar roleExcellent Knowledge of HVAC, Fire, and plumpingConstruction background is a mustAnalytical & planning skills.Very Good MS capabilities.Good user of AutoCAD.Very good command of English language.
